46 cars at the start in Catalonia

After a somewhat mixed assessment following the official tests at Paul Ricard on March 8 and 9, Aston Martin Racing will be keen to fight and show what the Lola-Aston Martins are capable of against the Courage-Oreca of the team of Hugues de Chaunac and Signature Plus, but also the two Pescarolo of the eponymous team, the two Ginetta Zytek and the Lola B08/60 Motorized Coupé from Speedy Racing. It will also be necessary to count on the two private R10s entrusted to the Kolles team, which benefits from the support of Audi.

In LMP2, 16 cars will be competing for victory. Note the great diversity of this category, in which we find nine different chassis, 7 nationalities of teams and no less than 3 manufacturers out of the 5 present during the season. Does this promise us some great fights?

As for LMGT1, the French teams Larbre Competition and Luc Alphand Aventures will face teams from the East, with the Slovaks from the ARC Bratislava-Kaneko team and their Saleen S7-R, but also the Russians from IPB Spartak Racing and their very beautiful Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT. Luc Alphand will share his Corvette C6.R with Patrice Goueslard and Yann Clairay, while the Larbre Competition Saleen S7-R will be driven by Patrick Bornhauser, Fréderic Makowiecki and David Hallyday.

Pour finir, on retrouve pas moins de 14 voitures en LMGT2, grâce aux Porsche 997, Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin Vantage and Spyker C8 Laviolette, and renowned drivers: Christophe Bouchut, Marc Lieb, Antonio Garcia, and Gianmaria Bruni.
