The second and final Free Practice session for the 4 Hours of Spa, fifth and penultimate round of the season ELMS, was undecided for a long time. It was ultimately Charlies Eastwood who set the best time of the session shortly before midday. The Irishman completed his best lap in 2:07.756 at the wheel of the #34 Racing Team Turkey. He beat another car entered in LM P2 Pro-Am, the No. 47 Algarve Pro Racing, driven by Alex Pieroni, by 0.151 seconds. Fabio Scherer completed the podium of this session at 0.880 seconds in the No. 43 Inter Europol Competiotn.
Malthe Jakobsen dominated the LM P3 category at the wheel of the #320 COOL Racing Ligier JS P17 – Nissan with a time of 2:16.669. The young Dane largely gained the upper hand over Kay van Berlo (United Autosports no. 3) with a margin of 1.739 seconds. Xavier Lloveras positioned himself in third place with Eurointernational n°10.
In LM GTE, it was the No. 93 Proton Competition which was the fastest in 2:20.507, ahead of theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°69 of Oman Racing with TF Sport and the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°57 from Kessel Racing.
