The LM P2 qualifying session was interrupted by a red flag nine minutes from the end of the session following the violent exit of the track by Nicolas Jamin at the wheel of the number 07 United Autosports Oreca 32 – Gibson at the top of Raidillon. More fear than harm for the Frenchman, who emerged unscathed from the car which had set the best time in Free Practice 2. Definitely in high spirits after his victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with WRT, Charles Milesi took pole position for his first appearance with the COOL Racing team in 2:04.384. United Autosports and WRT had to settle for second and third places.

Earlier in the afternoon, the LM P3 session was interrupted for the same reason, with David Hauser at the wheel of the number 12 Racing Experience making a mistake in the same place. Like Jamin, the Luxembourger extricated himself from his vehicle. At the same time, the number 5 of MV25 Racing with Fabien Lavergne stopped at the side of the track at the bottom of the famous hill of the Belgian circuit. The session finally resumed at 14:03 p.m. DKR Engineering confirmed its best time of the first Free Practice session by also setting the best time of these qualifications in 2:11.548 with a furious Laurens Horr at the wheel. This is the fourth consecutive pole for the number 4 this season. Inter Europol Competition took second place, at 0.744, ahead of number 2 United Autosports.
