Alex Brundle was the fastest in the European Le Mans Series private tests ahead of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.

Alex Brundle fastest in practice at Paul-Ricard

The European's final 2020 pre-season testing session Le Mans Series (ELMS) went to Alex Brundle (Oreca). The United Autosports team driver completed a lap of Paul-Ricard (Var) in 1'38''158 this Wednesday July 15 during the afternoon. 

The Briton beat the second LM P2 fielded by United Autosports driven by the Portuguese Filipe Albuquerque (+0”2) and Nyck de Vries (G-Drive Racing Oreca). In LM P3, the advantage went to the defector from the car, Niko Kari (Eurointernational).

 

 

The GTE class saw the Belgian Alessio Picariello (Porsche) sign the best time during the morning session, 46 thousandths ahead of the Ferrari by Andrea Piccini, the fastest of the afternoon.
