ELMS / Asian LMS – The Ligier JS P3 continues its tests

Presented in June on the sidelines of 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Ligier JS P3 continues to accumulate kilometers since then, entrusted to the expert hands of Olivier Pla, prototype development driver, in addition to his commitments with Nissan in the World Championship.Endurance. After his debut in the week following the Le Mans classic at Magny-Cours (Nièvre), Onroak recently set down for Spain and Motorland Aragon.

“Back from Motorland, I am very proud of the work done by our teams, both the Design Office and the teams who built the car and run it today. After the success of the Ligier JS P2, they followed up brilliantly with the Ligier JS P3, confesses Jacques Nicolet, president of Onroak, who was also able to take a few laps in the JS P3. “I took immense pleasure, different but at least as intense than at the wheel of the Ligier JS P2. »

For Olivier Pla, the summer break in WEC is an opportunity to fully bring your skills to the development work. « Did we do a lot of kilometers? more than 700? and we encountered no problems, explains the Toulouse resident. As we already noticed during testing last month, the car is really healthy and extremely easy and pleasant to drive. We have worked a lot on balance optimization in order to be able to provide future customers with as much data as possible that will help them get the most out of the car. »

According to Benoît Bagur, Onroak Automotive Technical Director, the Ligier JS P3 should make its competitive debut next October for the opening of the Asian Le Mans Series at Fuji in Japan. Several teams have already confirmed the purchase of models, notably Eurointernational or Graff Racing.
