ELMS – Berthon and Murphy, references from the tests at Paul Ricard

The five test sessions spread over two days at Paul Ricard allowed the teams to prepare for the start of the season on April 19 at Silverstone, with a session carried out at night on Tuesday evening. At the end of the tests, it was the Oreca 03-Nissan from Murphy Prototypes which was credited with the best time with a lap completed in 1'48"342 by Nathanaël Berthon. The Frenchman from the GP2 Series was more than four tenths ahead of his closest opponent, in this case Christian Klien on the Newblood by Morand Racing Morgan-Judd. Olivier Pla completes the LMP2 top three in the Larbre Compétition Morgan. L'Alpine A450 is the first more than a second behind the reference time.

In GTE, it was Andrea Bertolini who was responsible for setting the best time with a lap completed in 1'55"828 on the Ferrari 458 n°72 du SMP Racing. Matt Griffin est le plus proche sur une autre Ferrari en pointant à moins d’un dixième du chrono référence. Franck Perera s’est chargé de signer le meilleur chrono des GTC avec un temps de 1’57 »089 au volant de la Porsche 911 GT3 R du Pro GT by Almeras.
