ELMS – IMSA Performance unveils the trio of the No. 76 Porsche

Team IMSA advances strong crews for the 2014 season of theELMS. Entered in the GTE category, she will take part in two Porsche 997 GT3 RSR for the trio Eric Hélary – Jean-Marc Merlin – Erik Maris (car no. 67) and for Raymond Narac, Nicolas Armindo and Laurent Pasquali in the no. 76. The latter joins the winning duo of the ELMS in 2011 and 2012 in the GTE category. “ After a year at McLaren, it's nice to be back behind the wheel of a Porsche. The Carrera Cup program is going to be very exciting and I am delighted to be part of IMSA's return to this championship. I will also do my first laps in ELMS this year after having competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2008 on a Corvette. I have great memories of it and given the level of the championship this year, it will be a very good fight with many cars vying for the podium. »

For his teammate Raymond Narac, “The season promises to be exciting. This is the year of the big comeback for me. Back in ELMS or GT Tour, and with the RSR with which we won the 24 Hours. It’s also new with the arrival of Laurent. As a driver, I find that the off-season has been very long. I haven't yet had the opportunity to drive the GT3 E in the 2013 version, and I'm really looking forward to discovering the car. »

IN addition to its ELMS program, the IMSA Performance Matmut team will also compete in the GT Tour (with Narac and Armindo) and the Porsche Carrera Cup France (with Pasquali and Armindo), the latter starting for a season of 33 races.
