Julien Canal will join the ranks of Greaves Motorsport for the 2016 season ofELMS and 24 Hours of Le Mans June 18 and 19.
He is a recruit of choice for the British team since the 33-year-old Frenchman is the holder of the LMP2 Trophy in WEC obtained with the Ligier JS P2 of G-Drive Racing and that he has three category victories in the double round of the clock at Sarthe.
“This team has already proven that it has a high level of performance”, commented the new Greaves Motorsport recruit. “I have two years of experience on the Ligier and I will be able to share my knowledge with the team. Our common goal is to win the ELMS title and I believe 100% in Greaves Motorsport to achieve this goal. »
The French driver will therefore team up with Memo Rojas on the No. 2 Ligier JS P41. Greaves Motorsport has yet to announce a third driver to complete the line-up.
