ELMS – Signatech-Alpine ready to defend her title

On the only Alpine A450 lined up in ELMS In 2014, the trio of drivers who will take to the track this weekend in England will consist of Nelson Panciatici, Paul-Loup Chatin and the regional Oliver Webb. However, the season started with a hiccup during testing at Paul Ricard, with an exit from the track on the first day, caused by a GTC competitor in distress. Despite this setback, Panciatici set the 4th fastest time. ?I hadn?t driven for six months with the?Alpine A450. We had to get back into the rhythm and find our place in the traffic. These two days of testing allowed us to work well on the new Michelin tires. We have progressed on endurance without necessarily focusing our work on performance. Our crew is very homogeneous. And even though the competition is very well armed, I know that we are ready to fight for the title. »

The first tests will start at Silverstone on Friday. L'Alpine A450 will also depart from 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14-15), with the focus on a good performance in LM P2, one of the French team's priority objectives this season
