ELMS – TDS Racing confident before Silverstone

TDS Racing displays promising performances with the new Oreca 05 led by the trio Ludovic Badey, Pierre Thiriet and Tristan Gommendy. The French team's new mount achieved the second fastest time in the official tests carried out on March 23 and 24 at Paul-Ricard (Var) and demonstrated satisfactory reliability.

With the departure of Signatech-Alpine, from Sébastien Loeb Racing, Race Performance and Larbre Compétition in the LMP2 category, TDS Racing will seek to succeed Philippe Sinault's team by winning the Drivers and Teams titles. “The base of the car is healthy and our first feelings are good”, assures Tristan Gommendy. ?She is responsive to each of our modifications, it?s very positive. We have tested a lot of things at Le Castellet and we now know in which direction to go. Dunlop did a good job with the 2015 tires.”

The crew of the No. 46 will arrive with confidence next weekend at Silverstone (Great Britain) having won there last year. “Looking ahead to the first round, one thing is certain: we will fight at the forefront », promises the GP winner F3 from Macau in 2002. “Silverstone is a circuit that mixes medium and fast sections and, with its balance, I think the car will perform well there. There is also a chance of rain. So a lot of parameters will come into play.”

TDS Racing will also enter a BMW Z4 GT3 in the GTC category with Eric Dermont, Franck Perera and Dino Lunardi at the wheel.
