Panis Racing unveils its trio for its European campaign

Waiting for the start of the 2022 European Le Mans Series season (April 17 at Paul Ricard), the panis racing is already at work. Less than two months before the first start, the Toulouse structure has completed its crew for this new European campaign where the objective will be to continue the momentum of 3rd place acquired overall last year.

A loyal member of Panis Racing since 2018, Julien Canal has extended his adventure with Olivier Panis' team. Switched to United Autosports in 2021, Nicolas Jamin returns to the Rouffiac-Tolosan team and his Oreca 07 with which he had already raced in 2018. The two Frenchmen will be joined by the Dutchman Job van Uitert who competed in the WEC with Racing Team Nederland and theELMS with United Autosports in 2021.

« I am very happy to leave with the Panis Racing team, specifies Julien Canal. This is the 5th consecutive season with them for me and always with the same motivation to perform and win races together! For 2022 the crew has changed somewhat, notably with the arrival of Job Van Uitert, my new teammate, and the return of my friend Nico Jamin. Our trio is solid, we all have a lot of experience in endurance and there is a strong human touch between us, we know that this is one of the keys to success. I can't wait to get back on the track with the two of them and this team which has given me so much in recent seasons. We are all extremely motivated to climb again to the highest steps of the ELMS podiums and access this year to that of the 24h of Le Mans at the arrival."

After its 3rd place in ELMS and a podium at Le Mans in LMP2, there is no doubt that Panis Racing intends to do better in 2022. It is up to the Canal/Jamin/van Uitert trio to demonstrate that the Toulouse team was right to bet on him.
