If we knew that we would have to count on them, we didn't expect such a reduction either. No, the word is not too strong.

Responsible for starting, Louis Delétraz took a few laps before gaining the advantage over Roman Rusinov (Aurus 01 n°26), but once done, the Swiss took off tirelessly. Yifei Ye and Robert Kubica, also impeccable, then only had to reach the finish to offer their employer the first victory in its history in LM P2, for what was only its second race in the category, its first with the Oreca 07. Hats off.

Penalized by two drive throughs and by clashes in which Franco Colapinto was involved, the Aurus 01 n°26 placed on pole by Nyck de Vries had to settle for fourth place.

In second row, we find the No. 07 Oreca 31 of Panis Racing (Julien Canal-Gabriel Aubry-Will Stevens), author of the perfect race, and the No. 22 of Phil Hanson-Jonathan Aberdein-Tom Gamble. The latter consoled a United Autosports team which saw the #32 lose its hopes of victory after Nicolas Jamin spun at the first corner before ending up in the gravel trap.

Another French team to have shone: Ultimate, which was making its first outing in LM P2. Associated with François Hériau, the Lahaye brothers took the checkered flag in fifth place, first in LM P2 Pro/Am. The French trio had the luxury of being ahead of certain big names in the discipline.

Tenth in LM P2, Cool Racing consoled itself with the victory in LM P3 of Matt Bell-Niklas Kruetten-Nicolas Maulini. The No. 320 JS P19 preceded three other Ligiers, namely the No. 15 fielded by RLR MSport for Malthe Jakobsen-Alex Kapadia-Mikael Benham, the No. 13 of Julien Falchero-Martin Hippe-Ugo de Wilde (Inter Europol Competition ) and the No. 18 of Alessandro Bressan-Andreas Laskaratos-Damiano Fioravanti (AIM Villorba Corsa), knocked off the podium a short distance from the finish by the young Belgian.

Finally, in GTE, victory went to the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°60 from Iron Lynx on board which we found Miguel Molina-Rino Mastronardi-Matteo Cressoni. The Italian entity preceded the Porsche 911 RSR-19 n°77 of Gianmaria Bruni-Christian Ried-Jaxon Evans (Proton Competition) and the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n°55 of Spirit of Race driven by David Perel-Duncan Cameron-Matthew Griffin.

The next round of theELMS is scheduled for May 15 and 16 on the Red Bull Ring, Austria.
