Since its first announcements last October, Isotta Fraschini has had a very clear idea in mind: to join the premier category ofEndurance in 2023 with the aim of participating in 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 10-11). But when ? At first glance, at the 6 Hours of Spa (April 29), thus skipping the first two rounds of the campaign at Sebring (March 17) and Portimão (April 16). However, this participation in the world championship is still subject to approval by the organizers.

In the meantime, Isotta Fraschini continues to work on its Tipo 6 LMH-C which, according to the information revealed, would be a hybrid Hypercar weighing 1 kg on the scale. Under its hood would hide a 000° V-shaped six-cylinder engine producing 90 horsepower, coupled with a 700 kW (200 horsepower) electric motor at the front for a total power estimated at around 270 horsepower. In addition, the Italian brand says it has partnered with Brembo, Multimatic, Pankl Racing, Xtrac Limited for the development of its Hypercar. It remains to be seen whether Isotta Fraschini will obtain its much-desired approval to finally enter the WEC.
