Alexey Lukyanuk opportunistic at the Azores Rally

Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) leads the Rally of the Azores before the second stage which will include six special stages. The Russian found himself in control of the event following the exit of the road after only 2km of Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5) who will nevertheless be able to restart tomorrow.

Bruno Magalhaes (Skoda Fabia R5) took the advantage over his compatriot Ricardo Moura (Ford) for a 6s lead and thus finds himself in 2nd place. ERC Junior U28 leader Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda) is fourth while Marijan Griebel (Ford) completes the top five ahead of Josh Moffett (Ford) and Jan Cerny (Skoda) following José Antonio Suarez's accident (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) in the last special of the stage.

The second stage will start tomorrow from 12:08 p.m.
