Barum: The fight of the Skoda drivers

The fight for victory is taking shape between Jan Kopecky, Freddy Loix and Juho Hänninen after Bryan Bouffier retired due to an accident. The leaders are grouped in ten seconds.

The exit of Bryan Bouffier in the first special of the second stage made him lose his hopes of victory. Peugeot . The Frenchman gives up fourth place to Thierry Neuville (Peugeot), but the Belgian is much too far away to play for victory.

The lead in the event is nevertheless hotly contested between the Skoda drivers. Jan Kopecky maintains the advantage, but the Czech now only has a one-second lead over Freddy Loix, who has taken the advantage over Juho Hänninen. The Championship leader remains in contact since he is only ten seconds behind the leader of the race.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) remains in the running and is aiming for fourth place, the Norwegian less than 20 seconds behind Thierry Neuville. Toni Gardemeister (Skoda) will try to maintain his sixth place from Crag attacks Breen (Ford), who is 12 seconds behind the Finn.

The crews will leave at 12:12 p.m. for the last three stages of the Barum Rally.
