ERC – Østberg: “Gain experience on asphalt”

The current second in the general classification of the World Championship will be entered on a Ford Fiesta R5 from RMC Motorsport, and will logically be one of the favorites, even if its final position does not seem to be a priority.

"It's really hard to say, explains the former Citroën driver when asked about his expectations. There are so many unknown factors. I don't think about that too much. My goal is simply to enjoy the rally et to gain experience on the asphalt.

It's always useful to spend time in a rally car, especially since this year I have a new co-driver (Ola Fløene, former teammate of Andreas Mikkelsen at Volkswagen, Editor's note), so it's good for us to have this opportunity. »

The Rally Islas Canarias will begin this Thursday with the qualifying special.
