ERC - Skoda on time for its Fabia R5

The Czech brand is continuing the development of the R5 version of its Fabia and is aiming for approval by mid-2015.

The Future Skoda Fabia R5 is eagerly awaited. Given the eloquent track record of its big sister S2000, the future weapon of Skoda Motorsport hopes to have an equally prolific career.

The Finn Esapekka Lappi, champion ERC 2014, and the Czech Jan Kopecky, winner in 2013, continued the development program for the future competitor of the Citroën DS3 R5, Peugeot 208 T16 R5, and other Ford Fiesta R5, in Italy at the end of January. “We tested the car on asphalt and more recently on dirt, explains Kopecky.
