Oliver Solberg remains the master at Rally Liepaja

Winner in Latvia in 2019, for his first major victory on the international scene, Oliver solberg did it again in 2020, winning the second round of the European Rally Championship ERC.

Leader on the evening of the first stage, the Swede, lined up at the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo GTI R5, did not weaken this Sunday, setting four of the six fastest times to win with a 20″1 margin over Mads Ostberg (Citroën C3 R5), author of the two other best times of the day.

A new performance from the son of the 2003 world rally champion, as he also precedes Alexey Lukyanuk (Citroën C3 R5), third in Latvia and who strengthens his position as leader of the ERC after his opening victory in Rome. Especially since Mads Ostberg is transparent in the rankings.

The top 5 is completed by Eerik Pietarinen (Skoda Fabia R5) and Craig Breen (Hyundai i20 R5), qui a résisté au retour d’Emil Lindholm (Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo). La victoire en ERC3 / ERC3 Junior revient à Ken Torn (Ford Fiesta Rally4).
