Optimum Motorsport has confirmed it will make its Asian debut Le Mans Series 2021 alongside Inception Racing with a McLaren 720S GT3.
Already entered in the 12 Hours of Bahrain in January, the British team will remain in the Gulf to take part in the four ALMS events in February in Abu Dhabi with the same drivers Brendan Iribe and Ollie Millroy, who will be joined by a “endurance figure” according to the team, a gold or platinum driver.
“It’s really cool to be back in the ALMS,” commented Ollie Millroy. “Brendan and I have a good history here in Abu Dhabi, having won the 12 Hours last year in GT4. We have loved this track, so I hope we will be competitive and the layout should suit the car. »
