Charles Crews continues his momentum. After placing Inter Europol Competition in pole position during qualifying, the American leads the proceedings after an hour of racing. With style, since he has around ten seconds of margin over Salih Yoluc (DKR Engineering). Rodrigo Sales (Nielsen Racing) occupies third position.

After holding off Yoluc at the start, Crews led a rather quiet first stint, temporarily giving up his lead during a pit stop. The LM P2s took advantage of a Full Course Yellow to make their first stop. This neutralization was caused 20 minutes after the start by a collision between the COOL Racing nº37 of Alexandre Coigny and a GT. The Swiss managed to return to his garage with a puncture, but is now four laps behind the lead.

The #11 WTM by Rinaldi Racing Duqueine, then leading the LM P3, encountered a gearbox problem after 50 minutes of racing, leaving first place in the category to… Inter Europol Competition. The Polish team is in good spirits in this first hour since its No. 320 Ligier JS P73 also leads this class with Alexander Bukhantsov at the wheel.

In GT, the #4 BMW M3 GT34 retained the pole position advantage, ahead of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from HubAuto Racing and the McLaren 720S GT3 from Garage 59.
