Starting in pole position, the No. 07 Oreca 43 of Inter Europol Competition did not get off to a good start to this Sunday's 4 Hours of Dubai. Immediately overtaking the No. 23 United Autosports car, Charles Crews then made a mistake while chasing his opponent. A godsend for Garnet Patterson who didn't ask for so much to take off. The Australian quickly distanced himself from his rivals over whom he had a lead of more than ten seconds after a quarter of an hour of racing. But as often in Endurance, the different strategies more or less moved the general ranking.

Thus, the No. 23 of United Autosports ceded control to the sister car (No. 22) driven by Phil Hanson since Yasser Shahin took the place of Garnet Patterson. After an hour of racing, the Englishman is more than 30 seconds ahead of Charles Crews who, despite his mishaps in the first lap, has moved up to 2e position in the overall general ranking.

In LMP3, Sebastián Alvarez allows the No. 320 Ligier JS P18 of 360 Racing to lead the proceedings. While the first refuelings have not yet taken place, the Mexican was only 5 seconds ahead of the No. 30 WTM by Rinaldi Racing Duqueine M11 but it had to be returned to its garage. It is therefore the N°320 Ligier JS P29 of MV2S Racing which follows behind.

In GT, advantage toAston Martin Vantage GT3 No. 77 from D'Station Racing. At the wheel, Tomonobu Fujii holds off Rob Bell on the McLaren 720S GT3 No. 59 from Garage 59.
