Second hour of racing and second different leader. After United Autosports, it is COOL Racing which has crossed the halfway mark at the top of the standings for this Sunday's 4 Hours of Dubai. At the wheel of the Oreca 07 N°37, Nicolas lapierre took advantage of the various passages through the pit lane to take the reins of the Dubai event.

The pilot Alpine en WEC is a little less than 10 seconds ahead of the No. 3 of DKR Engineering. However, the latter should fall back in the hierarchy since it must perform a drive-through for having cut the pit entry line.

In LMP3, DKR Engineering (Duqueine M30 – D08 No. 5) with Valentino Catalano at the controls is in the lead. The Dutch team has a lead of 30 seconds over the No. 9 and No. 8 of Graff Racing. Note that the No. 17 of COOL Racing had an accident causing the Safety Car to enter the track for around twenty minutes. She has since returned to her garage and has never left it.

In GT, it's very tight. Nicky Catsburg (BMW M4 GT3 No. 34 – Walkenhorst Motorsport) took the lead but the Top 5 was held within 20 seconds. Enough to envisage a rather lively 3rd hour of racing in the category.
