4H Dubai – H3: DKR Engineering and Algarve Pro Racing in the fight

The 4h of Dubai is entering its home stretch. Heading into the final hour, Charlies Eastwood and James are battling for first for DKR Engineering and Algarve Pro Racing. They were for a time accompanied by Nikita mazepin, the former pilot of Formula 1 taking the lead a few minutes after passing Allen. 

His 99 Racing team is nevertheless on a shifted strategy due to the last minute arrival of Gonçalo Gomes in the team. The Portuguese driver had limited driving time as he did not take part in the Free Practice. What's more, the British team had to come back from 8th place on the grid. However, she has not said her last word since she is a winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 which is now installed in the Oreca 07 nº98 in the person of Neel Jani. The Swiss leads the charge from 4th position, with less than thirty seconds to go on the lead.

Nielsen Racing is in the lead in LM P3 and leads a Ligier quadruple with one hour remaining.

In GT, it is still the #4 BMW M3 GT34 from Walkenhorst Motorsport which continues its faultless performance.
