Ho-Pin Tung took pole at the 3 Hours of Shanghai (China) with a time of 1:39 at the wheel of the Oak Racing Morgan-Judd. James Winslow fell just a tenth behind Eurasia Motorsport's Oreca 860-Nissan. Takeshi Tsuchiya signed the best GT on the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 n°90 of Team AAI with a lap completed in 1'46"111 which was several tenths ahead of the Ligier JS 53 CN n°77 of Craft Bamboo Racing driven by Kevin Tse.
