A big first for COOL Racing at the start of 2023. The Swiss team, managed by Nicolas lapierre, will participate for the first time in the Asian Le Mans Series, from February 11 to 19. For this arrival in the Asian championshipEndurance, the structure will enter an LM P2 and an LM P3. On board the No. 07 Oreca 37, we will find the trio Alexandre Coigny – Nicolas Lapierre – Malthe Jakobsen. The Dane, impressive in LM P3 last season with 6 pole positions in as many sessions, will make his debut in the LM P2 category.

At the wheel of the Ligier JS P320 in LM P3, two new faces join the COOL Racing crew: Adrien Chila and Marcos Siebert, who will be accompanied by Cédric Oltramare. The French and Argentinian drivers have also been confirmed for the European Le Mans Series LM P3 program and will team up with Alex Garcia.

“The Asian Le Mans Series is a great way to start the year, rejoiced the co-founder of the team, Alexandre Coigny. Although we are very familiar with the LM P2 and LM P3 classes, this will be a first for us on these circuits and new drivers will join us. Of course, it will be a good opportunity to prepare our programs for 2023, but we remain ambitious. Personally, I'm delighted to return to the track with Nico and to be Malthe's teammate. (…) In the LMP3 class, Adrien and Marcos will bring experience and speed to Cédric, who will thus be able to make his debut in the best conditions. »
