Rainy conditions forced the organizers of theELMS to delay the second free practice session at Donington. Jody Firth, Warren Hughes and Brendon Hartley achieved the best time (1'37"232) aboard the Oreca 03-Nissan of Murphy Prototypes. Oak Racing remains at the forefront with the #24 Morgan-Judd of Jacques Nicolet and Matthieu Lahaye which is two tenths behind. The Sebastian Loeb Racing completes the top three with the Oreca 03-Nissan of Stéphane Sarrazin, Nicolas Minassian and Nicolas Marroc. The second Oak Racing Morgan (Pla-Baguette-Enjalbert) encountered mechanical problems with its Nissan engine but was still able to take to the track at the end of the session.
