The halfway mark was reached in Austria during the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring in European Le Mans Series, and the Gibson 015S – Nissan of Jota Sport, entrusted to Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and Filipe Albuquerque still dominates this third round of the calendar. The Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing of Pierre Thiriet – Ludovic Badey – Tristan Gommendy is in second position, less than five seconds behind, while it is the Oreca 03R of the Eurasia Motorsport team which completes the top three overall.
In GTE, the Ferrari 458 Italia from JMW Motorsport of Richardson – Smith – Tordoff has a lead of more than 25″ over the BMW Z4 of Team Marc VDS and more than a minute over the Ferrari 458 Italia of the Formula Racing team.
In LM P3, the Hoy – Robertson (Team LNT) duo is firmly in control of the category while the TDS Racing BMW Z4 of Lunardi – Perera – Dermont remains at the head of the GTC category.
