The European Le Mans Series will have a new, more modern visual identity from 2018, with emphasis on the word “Le Mans”. A find for graphic designers, the three stars represent the three steps of the podium, the three categories present (LM P2, LM P3 and LM GTE) but also the European flag.
Gérard Neveu, CEO of the championship, explains this overhaul. “The European Le Mans Series is the championship ofEndurance leader in Europe and we wanted a logo that could continue to build the reputation of our brand for years to come. The new logo ELMS is intended to be simple, comprehensive and dynamic; We tried to make it modern while still representing the traditions of Endurance. We hope it will be well received by our fans and all those who follow us”
