Nielsen Racing in LM P3 and LM P2

Nielsen Racing will race in Asian Le Mans in two categories. The British team will field a Ligier JS P230 in LM P3 and an Oreca 07 in LM P2. In the first, with number 8, we will once again find Tony Wells and Colin Noble for a fourth consecutive year together. The second prototype, with number 4, will be driven by Sales Rodrigo, Matt Bell and Ben Hanley. Rodrigo and Bell were already with Nielsen Racing in 2021, but in LM P3, while Hanley is a newcomer to the team. The 2022 Asian Le Mans Series will consist of four races spread across Dubai (February 11-12) and Yas Marina (February 19-20).

The team based in Corby (England) is a regular in the competition since it has been registered there since 2018. It even won the LM P3 title in 2019-2020 with Wells and Noble, in fact. The duo has two victories to their credit with the 4 Hours of Bend 2020 and the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi I in 2021.
