The Istanbul Park circuit will now serve as the finale of the 2022 season following the postponement of the Turkish ETCR event.

ETCR round at Istanbul Park postponed

The second round of the Electric Touring Car World Cup (ETCR), scheduled for Istanbul Park (Turkey) from May 20 to 22, has been postponed until November 2022. The press release published by the promoter of the Discovery Sports Events discipline and that of the EMSO Sportif event indicates “the pre-race conditions were not met in time for the event to take place on this date.”

The next ETCR meeting is therefore planned at the Hungaroring (Hungary, June 10-12). Mattias Ekström is leader of the ETCR after the inaugural round in Pau at the beginning of May.
