With a new scratch achieved in the fifth ES of the rally, the Irish Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) increases his lead at the top of the SATA Rally Azores. The Peugeot Rally Academy driver now leads the Pole Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) by 5″ and the Portuguese Ricardo Moura (Ford Fiesta R15) by 5″5.
After the setbacks of Josh Moffett in SS4, Robert Consani (Citroën DS3 R5) is placed in provisional sixth place in the general classification, more than a minute behind the leader.
