Excellent operation for Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) in SS7 of the SATA Rally Azores. The Pole scores a double blow by signing the scratch on the 28,92 km of Sete Cidades and takes advantage of an error from his rival Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) to take control of the rally with a 6″7 lead before the afternoon stages.
A duel is now looming at the top of the race since the Portuguese Ricardo Moura (Ford Fiesta R5) is in 3rd place, almost a minute behind the leader. Robert Consani (Citroën DS3 R5) climbed into the top 5.
