Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda) set the best time in the qualifying special of Rally from the Canary Islands (Spain) by completing the 3,43km course in 2’02”1. The Latvian was two tenths ahead of Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford), winner of the first round of theERC in the Azores (Portugal).
Jose Antonio Suarez (Hyundai) a suivi à plus d’une seconde devant Fabian Kreim (Skoda) et Ivan Ares (Hyundai).
