Juho Hänninen (Skoda) sets a great time in the 23,3km of Majak with a time of 12'49"0 which relegates his rival Jan Kopecky to more than ten seconds. Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) no longer pushes the pace and is content with fifth time, 22 seconds behind the leader. With three stages remaining, the 2010 champion has a 16-second lead over Jan Kopecky. Roman Kresta (Skoda) takes third position eight seconds ahead of Tomas Kotska (Skoda). Jaromir Tarabus climbs into the top five with a seven-second lead over Robert Barrable (Skoda).
