By passing the checkered flag on Sunday July 2 in Spielberg, Sophia Floersch rightly thought she would score her first points in Formula 3 (9th in Main Race). She believed she would at the same time become the first woman to do so in the discipline. But it didn't happen.

Declared non-compliant – the plates at the end of the front wing were at a height lower than the mandatory 70 millimeters – the car struck with No. 29 did not free the young German. A simple setback, perhaps, before a new Top 10 is possible. But time is starting to run out. While the mid-season milestone has been reached, there are only three meetings remaining
