Felix rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam) remained untouchable in Race 1 of the F3 European Championship at the Nürburgring (Germany). The Championship leader who started from pole won ahead of his teammate Nick cassidy et Callum ilott (Carlin) and took advantage of the poor performance of some of his opponents to benefit from a lead of 58,5 points with five races remaining in the season.
The ordeal did not favor the other contenders for the title. If Charles Leclerc (Van Amersfoort Racing) did well, finishing just off the podium, ahead of Mikkel Jensen (Mücke Motorsport), Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) had to settle for tenth position after having a bad start. Jake dennis (Prema Powerteam) abandoned following damage to its car.
Race 2 of the F3 European Championship at the Nürburgring will be contested from 16:40 p.m.
