Why do cryptocurrencies sponsor F1?
Why are cryptocurrency companies, like Crypto.com, spending fortunes to sponsor F1? /DPPI
FTX, Velas, Tezos, Bybit… These names may not mean anything to you, yet they appear prominently on the majority of single-seaters, driver combinations, and even the racing paddock. F1. Behind these mysterious brands hide companies of a new kind: blockchain infrastructures (technology which allows information to be stored and transmitted in a transparent, secure manner and without a central control body) and cryptocurrency exchange platforms.
You are lost ? Do not panic. Cryptocurrency, or simply crypto, is a digital asset, therefore not based on any physical support, unlike the contents of your wallet. There are around 10 different ones, the main ones being Bitcoin and Ether, which encompass two-thirds of the market. This crypto is exchanged peer-to-peer, that is to say through a decentralized computer network, therefore without the intermediary of a bank or a state. The total capitalization of the digital currency sector today amounts to around 000 billion dollars.

"Bankruptcy is not about to hit the sector." 8 teams out of 10 and even F1 as such!! Or how to put all your eggs in one basket, this smoke (crypto) will explode in full flight, (alongside subprimes will be placed in the schoolyard squabble category) the only uncertainty is knowing when , and this will probably be the swan song for F1.
