The Paris-Dakar invites itself to Rétromobile 2024

In 2024, the show Rétromobile will have a desert scent in the heart of Paris. The unmissable event for vintage car enthusiasts, scheduled from January 31 to February 4 at the Porte de Versailles of Paris Expo, will offer a unique exhibition dedicated to the Paris-Dakar.

For the occasion, and with the support of ASO (Amaury Sport Organization – organizer of the Dakar), the great mass of classic vehicles will welcome some of the cars and motorcycles that have marked the history of the Dakar. Rally Dakar: Yamaha XT500 of Cyril Neveu, Renault 4L by the Marreau brothers during the first editions in Africa, Porsche 959 specially adapted for competition with Jacky Ickx and René Metge or the Nissan X-Trail driven by Johnny Hallyday and René Metge during the 2002 edition…

This animation is added to the other themes of Rétromobile 2024, such as the 100th anniversary of the British manufacturer MG with the arrival of the speed record-breaker EX181, as well as the Centenary of the Linéas-Monthléry circuit (Essonne). The opportunity for enthusiasts who will soon visit Rétromobile to discover around twenty legendary vehicles that have marked the history, and the asphalt, of this place.

Whether pre-war vehicles (Bugatti Type 36/35A Grand-Prix 1925, Amilcar MCO Grand-Prix 1928, Jonghi Record 350 1934) or more recent models (Peugeot 404, McLaren F1 GTR, Matra MS650 or even the atypical Isetta Velam specially rebodied for the circuit), all will be present during the great annual mass of collector's vehicles
