Chamrousse – Chambérod unscathed, victory for Ritchen and Garcès

Damien Chambérod, the fastest man of the weekend, went off on the straight after a part broke on the front of his vehicle. A fire partially destroyed his Nova Proto NP01 1.7 Turbo, from which the driver was able to escape thanks to the help of rescuers. Helicoptered to Grenoble hospital, the reigning French Mountain Vice-Champion is unharmed and does not suffer any injuries.
