PRODUCTION CATEGORY

A light rain came when starting the first climb of the race, making the route more difficult to practice. In these conditions, Yannick Poinsignon quickly took the lead and never let it go again and claimed his 1th consecutive success this season.

The reigning French Mountain Champion, Ronald Garcès, must once again settle for 2nd position at the finish while the podium is, as in Thèreval, completed by Philippe Schmitter and his Renault RS01

SPORTS CATEGORY

The rain also surprised those in the Sport category, forcing all the drivers to make the first climb on a wet track on slick tires. Damien Chambérod, leader in practice, unfortunately went off the track and largely put the rest of his season on hold.

In these conditions, Billy Ritchen did not tremble to achieve his third career success and regain the lead in the championship. Kevin Petit finished second on his Norma M3FC CN+, ahead of Anthony Le Beller who continued his good momentum.

Now heading to the Côtes d'Armor next weekend for the 6th round of the French Mountain Championship: the Saint-Gouéno Hill Climb.
