Alpine has unveiled the final version of the A110 Pikes Peak, built in the Signatech workshops. After convincing tests, the French mount will fly to Colorado on Monday.

THEAlpine A110 Pikes Peak is there, in the flesh! The Normandy firm has revealed the first real images of its mount, which will take on the famous American hill climb race on June 25, in Colorado. Dressed in its final livery, the A110 Pikes Peak is finally revealed in the light of day, before flying to the United States this Monday.

Designed and built in the Signatech workshops in Bourges (Cher), the car made its first rounds in Lurcy-Lévis (Allier) at the end of April, before carrying out two days of testing at the Col de la Chaudière (Drôme). ) then to Val Thorens (Savoie) during May. Despite the snow falling on the high altitudes alpines last Saturday, the A110 Pikes Peak gave satisfaction to Philippe Sinault's clan, under the supervision of technical director Lionel Chevalier. 

Un “unmissable event” for Alpine

To swallow the 19,93 kilometers of climb and the 156 turns of the legendary hill climb, theAlpine A110 Pikes Peak – designed on the basis of the A110 GT4 Evo – has been lightened to 950 kilograms and the power of the 4L 1,8-cylinder engine increased to 500 horsepower. Driven by Raphaël Astier, winner of the 2022 FIA R-GT Cup with the A110 Rally and four times at the start of the American event, theAlpine A110 Pikes Peak should be entered in the Time Attack 1 category, subject to approval.
