Sébastien Loeb: “It was a dangerous race, I was happy to finish”

Ten years ago, the Alsatian caused a sensation by breaking the record for the climb at the wheel of an extreme Peugeot 208 built for this event. And comes back for us to this extraordinary experience of which he has fond memories.

Was Pikes Peak 2013 your one and only experience in Colorado?

I had never been there and I never went back.

Before being there, what idea did you have of this event?

I had to tell myself that it was a mythical thing that we heard about even at home. Ari Vatanen's images have contributed greatly to his notoriety in France.
