In the absence of Yannick Poinsignon, who was out for the rest of the season, Ronald Garcès presented himself at the start of the event as a favorite who could become champion this weekend. However, he must face a major competitor: Nicolas Werver.
The eight-time French Mountain Champion was the first to sign the reference brand, but Garcès and his Audi R8 LMS Ultra quickly took the best ahead of Werver. Philippe Schmitter finished the tests in 3rd place.
SPORTS CATEGORY
Geoffrey Schatz can also become French Mountain Champion this weekend, and did not fail to show his intentions during practice by setting the new track record in the second round: 2'20''432.
Fabien Bourgeon finished testing in 2nd position at the wheel of his Revolt 3P0, and ahead of Billy Ritchen whose Nova NP01 V8 continues to impress. Note the packages of Sébastien Petit and Cyrille Frantz.
Tomorrow, the competitors will start 3 race climbs, starting at 8:00 a.m.
