42 cars at Monza, van der Zande replaces Hanley at DragonSpeed

42 cars should be at the start of the 4 Hours of Monza (May 10-12), second round of the European Le Mans Series 2019. The LM P2 category will once again be the largest with 19 prototypes, and a major change: the replacement of Ben Hanley by Renger van der Zande on the No. 07 Oreca 21 – DragonSpeed.

The American team's LM P2 won at the opening of the season at Paul Ricard, but will not be able to count on Hanley. Van der Zande will make his debut in ELMS, who has extensive experience in IMSA.

The category will also be able to count on the reinforcement of Cetilar R. Villorba Corse with a Dallara P217 entrusted to the trio Bellichi – Sernagiotto – Lacorte.

Le reste du peloton, LM P3 et GTE inclus, demeurera quasiment identique à celui vu au Castellet. L’équipage de la Porsche 911 RSR n°88 – Proton Competition doit toutefois être encore complété, seul Thomas Preining étant officialisé.
