The start of the 4H in Barcelona was lively with already three retirements, including that of the Iron Ladies even though Sarah Bovy had nevertheless managed to take the lead in the race. Two other LM P3s were also forced to withdraw after getting stuck: the COOL Racing no. 27 and the United Autosports no. 3.

After resisting Salih Yoluc (Racing Team Tureky) at the first braking, Julien Canal (Panis Racing) created a good lead at the head of the race. The Frenchman, however, was unable to do anything against the pace of Ferdinand Habsburg. The Austrian driver from Prema moved up from 7th place on the grid to take control of the event. At the end of the first hour, he was ahead of the #65 of Panis Racing and the #37 of COOL Racing.

In LM P3, it is the No. 13 Inter Europol Competition driven by Charles Crews which is at the top of this category. The American is ahead of the #2 United Autosports driven by Joshua Caygill and the #17 COOL Racing with Maurice Smith at the wheel.

The Iron Ladies are down, Christian Ried leads with the No. 77 Proton Competition in GTE.
