Prema felt comfortable during this third hour of racing at the 4H of Portimão, the final round of the 2022 season of theELMS. Ferdinand Habsburg thus occupied first place in the ranking and is heading towards a title which extends his arms to the Italian team before passing the baton to Louis Delétraz. The Swiss is well ahead of Yifei Ye in the COOL Racing n°37 and Nicolas Jamin in the Panis Racing n°22. If the ranking remains there at the checkered flag, the French team would be vice-champion, but remains under threat from United Autosports.

Inter Europol Competition led the LM P3 category before a collision between Nicolas Pino and Mathias Beche in the LM P2 of TDS Racing x Vaillante. Forced to return to the pits with a damaged car, the Chilean left control of the class to Malthe Jakobsen in the No. 17 COOL Racing. United Autosports is third with Bailey Voisin.

In LM GTE, Dorian Pin is supersonic. Pocket Rocket, remaining in Slicks unlike its opponents, pushed back its first pursuers by one lap! The Iron Dames' offbeat strategy with one less stop than the other teams is paying off for the moment, but the changing weather conditions could still change everything in this race.
