4H of Spa – EL1: United Autosports dominates Team WRT

While the deluge fell again on the Ardennes in recent days, it was under the sun that the first Free Practice session for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps took place. Unsurprisingly, this hour and a half session was dominated by United Autorsports and WRT in LM P2. The Oreca 07 – Gibson number 22 of the trio Aberdein, Hanson, Gamble set the best time in 2:05.743 ahead of the number 41 of the Belgian team (Delétraz, Kubica, Ye), at 1.034. COOL Racing (Coigny, Stone, Milesi) completed the podium, at 1.118. 

En LM P3, l’autre prototype de l’écurie anglo-américaine (Boyd, Cauhaupe, Wheldon) a été dominé par DKR Engineering (Horr, de Barbuat) en 2:12.839. La catégorie LM GTE a vu Iron Lynx avec la numéro 80 (Cressoni, Mastronardi, Molina) prendre le dessus sur la Porsche 911 RSR – 19 de Michael Fassbender, Felipe Laser et Richard Lietz avec un temps en 2:17.859.
