4H of Spa – FP2: A double for United Autosports ahead of COOL Racing

United Autosports seems decidedly at home in the Belgian Ardennes. After dominating Free Practice 1, the Anglo-American team did it again this Saturday morning for the second session, even scoring a double. The Oreca 07 – Gibson number 32 (Jamin, M. Maldonado, van Uitert) set the best time in 2:04.830 ahead of number 22 (Aberdein, Hanson, Gamble), at 0.386. The crew Alexandre Coigny, Charles Milesi and Nicolas lapierre of COOL Racing completes the podium in the general classification and the LM P2 category, at 0.496.

En LM P3, DKR Engineeing a confirmé sa domination de la veille avec le meilleur chrono pour le trio de la numéro 4 (Horr, de Barbuat), avec un 2:11.834. La numéro 2 d’United Autorsports (Boyd, Cauhaupe, Wheldon) a pris la deuxième place en 2:12.726. La Porsche 911 RSR – 19 numéro 77 de Proton Competition (Campbell, MacNeil, Ried) s’est positionnée en haut de la feuille des temps en LM GTE.
