Asian Le Mans Series – Le Mans and global ambitions for Craft Racing

The 2013 Asian Le Mans Series regulations stipulate that participants will be invited to 24 Hours of Le Mans 2014 the LM P2 champion as well as the first two in GTC (guests in GTE Am). If AF Corse is already titled in GTC, second place will be played out tomorrow between Craft Racing and the AAI Rstrada team. To achieve its goal, Craft Racing will line up at the 3 Hours of Sepang tomorrow, two Aston Martin V12 Vantage entrusted to Stefan Mücke-Keita Sawa and Frank Yu-Darryl O’Young-Tomonobu Fujii.

Aston Martin Racing's satellite team in Asia, Frank Yu's team won the Teams championship in GT Asia this year. Brilliant in the Asian Le Mans Series, she could see herself coming next year to rub shoulders with the discipline's references in the world championship.Endurance. “We are planning to make a few appearances in WEC next year to see (certainly during the two Asian rounds. Editor’s note), Frank Yu, the boss-pilot, told us. And if tomorrow's race (the 3 Hours of Sepang. Editor’s note) smiles on us, then we will be delighted to accept the invitation for Le Mans. »

A participation which would very logically be done with Aston Martin, Frank Yu praising the relations he has maintained for some time with the British firm. And if unfortunately his team was not automatically qualified, the Hong Kong native has not ruled out submitting an invitation request to the ACO.
