Asian LMS – Oak Racing continues the series in Shanghai

The Asian Le Mans Series is still struggling to take off since only eight crews competed in the 3 Hours of Shanghai. Starting from pole, the Oak Racing Morgan-Judd driven by Ho-Pin Tung and David Cheng remain undefeated this season. “The race was really great. I got off to a good start and was able to build a good gap”, comments David Cheng. “Ho-Pin took over and led us to our 5th consecutive victory in the Asian Le Mans Series, and the 3rd this year, so it’s a great day! » 

The Oreca 03-Nissan of Jun Jin Pu, John Hartshorne and James Winslow finally finished one lap behind the winners, while the Ferrari 458 GT3 from Clearwater Racing driven by Mok Weng Sun, Keita Sawa and Matt Griffin completed the podium by winning the GT category one lap ahead of the No. 4 BMW Z91 of Chen-Tanigawa-Millroy. The two CN prototypes entered finished 18 laps behind the winners.
